Soli is not dead!
On a side note, in my absence of dA, I joined the United States Army. I now handle communications at a brigade level, providing phone, internet, and other data services to almost 10,000 soldiers. When I set out to accomplish the 100 Art Themes Challenge, I was unaware of the upcoming deployment date of my unit. Within the next month of this post, I will be off to war in Iraq. Fret not my friend! For there is no need to worry, I will not be in any danger, this I assure you all. I will have access to the phone and internet; but it will be limited. In the downtime that I'm certain to experience, I will put my efforts towards tackling every one of those themes and, in one way or another, publishing them to dA. Without a scanner, everything will probably just be a picture from my digital camera; but it takes incredible pictures, so the quality will not be poor. I no longer have a working version of Photoshop, nor any kind of tablet interface with my computer. My HP tablet laptop was literally broken in three pieces, and no, it was not the severing of the monitor from the base. The monitor, and the keyboard/base were snapped in half. But I am saving up to get Photoshop CS4, and a Wacom tablet; but neither one of those may be in my grasp any time soon.
I have already sketched a few of the themes already, and more should be done soon. Expect to see results soon! I may even post one or two of them before I am done here today. I apologize for the lengthy journal entry, there were a few points I had to address and I wanted it to be known that I am not as ill-hearted as my absence may have led some to believe.
Looking forward to the bumpy ride, I say farewell for now! ^.=.^
